This Data Handling & Retention Policy (“Policy”) explains how Maska Privé Connect (“App”), operated by Maska Organics LLC (“we,” “our,” “us”), collects, stores, retains, and deletes data. This Policy works together with our Privacy Policy, End User License Agreement (EULA), and Terms & Conditions.

2. Data We Collect
We collect:
• Email and account information
• Skin type and year of birth
• Emotional check-ins and reflections
• Ritual adherence and completion data
• App usage and behavioral patterns
• Device and technical data
• Notification preferences
• Product replenishment and eligibility status

3. How We Use Data
We use this data to:
• Provide and maintain App functionality
• Personalize recommendations and experiences
• Track rituals and long-term user progress
• Determine 90-day access eligibility
• Improve App performance and features
• Deliver notifications and updates
• Support future automated personalization systems
We do not sell data.

4. Data Storage & Protection
We use secure third-party cloud infrastructure (e.g., Firebase, AWS). Data is encrypted in transit, stored securely, and protected through controlled access and monitoring.

5. Data Retention
Active Accounts (Extended Retention)
For active users, we retain emotional check-ins, reflections, ritual data, and usage history indefinitely to support personalization, long-term analysis, and continuity. Historical data may be stored in secure data warehouse systems.

Deleted Accounts
• Account deactivation within 72 hours
• Personal data deleted from primary systems within 30–90 days
• Backups purge automatically within their cycle (up to 180 days)

Minimal Legal Retention
Limited data may be temporarily retained to prevent fraud, comply with law, or maintain security.

6. User Rights
Users may:
• Request access to their data
• Request correction or deletion
• Request a portable copy (where applicable)
• Opt out of notifications

All vendors follow confidentiality and security requirements. We do not allow vendors to sell your data.

9. Age Requirement

Maska Privé Connect is intended solely for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
We do not knowingly collect, store, or process personal data from anyone under 18.

If we learn that data has been collected from a user under 18, we will:
• Immediately deactivate the account
• Delete associated personal data in accordance with this Policy
• Follow our Privacy Policy procedures for minor data removal
